A very good friend - Tjitske Dekker

Most people only have a couple very close friends. Jai was one of those friends for me. We met at the Colorado Capitol, where we shared a cubicle wall. Jai was great at rallying people to get lunch together. It didn't take long before Jai and I joined other legislative aides for weekly game nights. We played many games, including Coup, Secret Hitler, and Resistance. Jai would get into it, enthusiastically accusing other players of secret roles in the game, and creating a lively night. We celebrated birthdays together, enjoyed a Friendsgiving together, and went to the movies. Jai drove himself all the way to Seattle for my wedding. It was so fun having him there. He gave me my favorite wedding gift- a Nintendo switch! The last thing we did together was virtual- he visited my animal crossing town.
